THE GREATEST MIGRATION ON EARTH

A phenomenon takes place along the South Eastern Cape coast of South Africa each year, the world’s greatest migration, the Sardine Run. Six celebrities and explorer and marine biologist, Monty Halls, follow this incredible journey.

It’s not all about this little fish, but rather what preys on them; seals, sharks, dolphins and even whales join the feeding frenzy! As part of this marine adventure the team will take part in a shark tagging marine conservation program, they will work with injured marine life sanctuary looking after a population of penguins, they will be exposed to the poaching that’s taking place off this coastline and they’ll join Monty on the first ever sardine “night” diving experience from a working fishing trawler. The filming of this at night will be a world first!
